Can you imagine giving someone a hosting plan for the holidays? Of course you can’t because you’re a normal human person. But like every business, GoDaddy felt compelled to jump on the holiday sale bandwagon, so I had to come up with a different approach.
While everyone else was talking about buying and giving, we positioned the holidays as a time when our small business customers will be selling more, so buying our products and services now was an investment in their own holiday success.
The result is a holiday promotion that doesn’t feel like a tinsel-covered used car lot.
